Plastic toothbrushes are a daily, long-term source of microplastic exposure that has been largely overlooked. Twice a day, we grind plastic bristles into molecular sized bits that pass into our bloodstream through our gums. And we do this our entire lives.

The goal was to come up with a zero-waste, totally anti-bacterial, and plastic free build that costs no more than $5/brush. Our patent pending toothbrush design leverages a closed loop system with internal protrusions that grip the miswak pod as it's being seated. Instead of throwing away an entire toothbrush every few months, you simply return the miswak pod to nature while the stainless steel handle stays with you for life.

🧠 Why Miswak?

Miswak comes from the Salvadora persica tree and has been used for oral care for centuries. We see no reason to use bio-plastics(still an endocrine disruptor) or animal bristles(mold problems) when we have the miswak! The fibrous texture cleans mechanically, while the bioactive compounds:
